23-8-04 CarlisleCanoeClub.com no longer exists! Please update your favourites and links to point to CarlisleCanoeClub.org.uk. The change is due to our previous host going bust and leaving me unable to access my domain name. Our email list is also working again. Hotmail users may have to visit their Junk Mail folder--if our emails are appearing there then select them and select the This is not junk mail! option.

We have lots of new pics online: Check out Wetheral Weir, the Tryweryn, and the photo's from the Alps this year. Lots more on the Photos page. There is also a guide to Wetheral Weir.

23-10-03 CarlisleCanoeClub.com is back online!! Sorry for the 3 weeks of downtime--the host didn't think we had renewed so cancelled our account. Important!! We lost our latest email list and the backup list has about 3 people missing! If you where on the email list previously but have stopped getting emails, you should try and join again.

10-6-2003 My exams have finished!! so I've got plenty of time to update CarlisleCanoeClub.com again before I go to the Alps in a couple of weeks. Carlisle Canoe Club have just returned from Briançon -- a trip report will follow shortly. We have 2 photos online already. I have also added a few links: the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency have just started putting river flow data online--hopefully the Environment Agency will follow suite.24-3-03 I have added new pictures of Jim's expeditions to Bylot Island (in NE Canada) in 1999 and to the Mountain River in Canada in 2002, and from two sea paddling trips to the Shetlands and the Garvellachs, Dorine's whitewater course in Scotland, the Gelt, the Eden-Eamont open day (two days' open canoeing), a club paddle (beginners trip) on the Eden, and some spectacular pictures of Orcas off Skye. The pics on this page change every time you re-load it and the latest club program is updated a soon as it is sent to the email list.

25-12-02 I am compiling a directory of links to water level information (rainfall, tides, etc.) - Click here to find out exactly how much it's rained and the wettest 10 places over the last 24 hours.

15-12-02 You can now view the latest club program online. I have also compiled an *unmissable* Who's Who section featuring all the best photos of CCC members!
