Carlisle Canoe Club 

The Sands rapid is behind the Sands Centre in Carlisle. We have our club sessions on the rapid and the flat water upstream. There is a fast eddyline which is good for cartwheels and tail-squirts, and for learning to ferry glide and break in and out.
