Eventually we got some paddling done. Paul and I ran a double drop which backlooped Paul and slammed him into a rock. He rolled on the lip of the second fall. He was just keeping up his tradition of denting his boat on the first rapid of every river.

Tom runs Vicar's Swa fall. It looked alright to us but the hole I'm about to land in gave me two seconds downtime and quite a few ends. We didn't know most people portage it...
